Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) with rapid ventricular response
(RVR) is basically a fancy name for an irregular heartbeat. When your ticker’s
electrical signals aren’t working right, it can lead to a heartbeat that’s too
fast or too slow. Atrial fibrillation is what doctors call this abnormal heart
rhythm, and for most people, the faulty signals start in the upper two chambers
of the ticker, called the atria. But the misfiring signals sometimes can also
make your heart’s two bottom chambers, called ventricles, beat too quickly,
this is a specific type of atrial fibrillation called AFib with rapid ventricular response.
Before talking about the symptoms and causes, learn more
about the life-saving CPR procedure.
Proper application of the procedure can revive the life of a
victim involved in a cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest can strike anyone
irrespective of the person’s age (even children and infants). A victim would
require immediate treatment for survival. For CPR training, make sure to select
a certified training site, such as the AHA certified CPR Columbus in Ohio.
Courses for both healthcare and non-healthcare providers are offered. Learn
more about a “PALS class Columbus”
and advanced cardiac life support classes:
PALS
Classes- The PALS course material developed by the American Heart
Association is designed to prepare healthcare providers to recognize, prevent,
and treat pediatric medical emergencies. The course will help develop your
pediatric assessment skills and prepare you to identify early signs of shock,
respiratory emergencies, and cardiovascular emergencies in both infants and
children.
ACLS Classes- An ACLS,
or Advanced Cardiac Life Support class should be taken by healthcare providers
who could be directly involved in treating patients suffering from
cardiopulmonary arrest or cardiovascular emergencies.
Become certified at the end of the training classes after
successfully passing a skills test and written exam. An AHA CPR provider card
comes with a validity of 2 years which means you’ll have to go for PALS or ACLS renew certification Columbus class
to extend the validity of your card.
Symptoms Of
AFib With RVR:
You might feel like your ticker is beating too fast, you
might also experience chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, tired and
weak.
Causes:
The electrical signals make your ticker beat in a coordinated
way. Firstly, it is the atria that squeeze, or contract, then the signal
travels to the ventricles (lower chambers), they squeeze and pump out blood to
the lungs and body. These signals don’t go out correctly in atrial
fibrillation. The atria quiver instead of contracting. The flutters are so weak
that they cannot send enough blood into the ventricles. In AFib with RVR, the
ventricles also beat too fast. Again, these beats are very weak to push enough
blood out of the heart to your lungs and body.
Your heart rate can reach more than 100 BPM in AFib with
Rapid Ventricular Response while a normal heartbeat is 60 to 100 beats per
minute (BPM).
Risk
Factors And Complications:
You are more likely to get atrial fibrillation if you have
cardiovascular disease, heart failure (HF), valve disease, had a heart attack
or ticker surgery. Regardless of the AFib type, all can lead to a stroke or HF.
If left untreated, over time the condition can damage your heart muscle and
lead to HF. But the right treatment at the right time will bring your symptoms under
control and get you back into a healthy rhythm.
Treating
AFib With RVR:
1. When it
comes to short-term treatment, it depends on your overall condition. If you
aren’t stable, you’ll probably get
a. drugs
called beta-blockers with the most commonly used drugs being Esmolol,
Metoprolol
and Propranolol
b. or, doctors
might try calcium channel blockers like Diltiazem and Verapamil.
c. Doctors
might try digoxin if neither works. It is one of the more common treatments for
regular AFib.
2. Electrical Cardioversion- Your doctor
gives your ticker a shock to reset your heartbeat, and uses paddles or stick
patches called electrodes onto your chest.
3. Doctors may
suggest long-term treatment with a wider choice of beta-blockers once your
heart rate is under control or, they might have you try one of the calcium channel
blockers -- diltiazem or verapamil.
Happiness is all i see now big thanks to Dr. Ubarlo from West Africa (NIGERIA), I never thought that I will live on earth before the year runs out. I have been suffering from a deadly disease herpes Virus for the past 2 years now; I had spent a lot of money going from one place to another, hospitals have been my home every day. Constant checks have been my hobby not until this blessed day, I was searching through the Internet, I saw a testimony on how Dr. Ubarlo. from West Africa (NIGERIA) helped someone in curing his herpes Virus . quickly I copied his Whatsapp Contact: +2348119508814 just to give him a test I spoke to him, he asked me to do some certain things which I did,he told me that he is going to provide the herbal cure to me, which he did, then he asked me to go for medical checkup after some days after using the herbal medication, I was free from the deadly disease, he only asked me to post the testimony through the whole world, faithfully am doing it now, please brothers and sisters, he is great, I owe him in return. if you are having a similar problem just contact him by Email: at drubarlohome@gmail.com whatsapp him on +2348119508814 HIS HAVE THE CURE TO THIS FOLLOWING DEADLY DISEASE [1] Ischemic heart disease [2] Cerebrovascular disease [3] Lower respiratory infections [4] Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease [5] Diarrhea diseases [6] Trachea, bronchus, lung cancers [7] Tuberculosis [8] Diabetes mellifluous [9] Hypertension heart disease [10] HIV/AIDS
