Like adults,
a child or an infant can also get struck with a cardiac arrest or heart attack.
The most appropriate form of treatment is proper application of the life-saving
CPR techniques that comprises chest compressions and rescue breaths. Each and
every individual should be CPR trained.
Always
select an accredited training center for acquiring training such as the AHA
accredited CPR Columbus where both theoretical and practical training are
imparted to the students. A student will be eligible for a certification at the
end of the training classes after successfully passing a written exam and a
skills test. The CPR techniques varies for different age-groups (in terms of
application during an emergency). For that what is required is a good amount of
training in a certified training center. Today, we are going to discuss about a
PALS class Columbus where child CPR
techniques are taught to the students.
PALS Training Classes- This American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification course is designed for

injured pediatric patient.
The program

It is mainly
heart disease that causes the occurrence of a cardiac emergency like a cardiac
arrest or heart attack. Keeping heart disease at bay can help keep cardiac
emergencies at bay. The biggest risk factors of heart disease are high blood
pressure and high cholesterol.
Red meat allergy spread by ticks is
also linked to heart disease.
A bite from
a lone star tick can trigger an unusual allergy that causes hives, swelling of
the throat and lips, or an upset stomach when you eat red meat. Apart from
that, people with this rare red meat allergy may be particularly prone to
narrowed, stiff arteries in the heart, as per a new study.
Researchers
who analyzed blood samples from 118 adults found that 26% had evidence of a red
meat allergy (that is, they had antibodies to a molecule called alpha-gal, the
main allergen in red meat). Lone star tick saliva may contain alpha-gal, so
when a tick bites a person, it may trigger an immune response by the body,
which then recurs when the body encounters alpha-gal in red meat. Lone star
ticks are found throughout the southeastern and eastern United States. Everyone
sensitive to alpha-gel may not develop allergic symptoms after eating red meat
but they still have measurable
alpha-gal antibodies in their blood, and these inflammatory molecules may harm
arteries.
As per
artery scans, people with these antibodies had 30% more plaque buildup inside
their arteries than those without the antibodies.
